My apologies for being AWOL all last week - I have been pretty busy. It was VBS at my church, and the theme was Pandamania.
Pictures just don't do it justice - it was a BLAST! I was in charge of the kitchen, and each day we served about 400 meals. So, in five days, we made 2,000 meals, PLUS a pizza party for 150 volunteers! It was a crazy mess, but my three adult volunteers and my five youth volunteers (plus two more I referred to as "the muscle" because they did all my "heavy lifting and enforcing") helped make it fun and go smoothly.
I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked to - we were SO BUSY! and once we got into a rhythm we just kept on it - but above we are making our pretzel crosses with candy and sprinkles.
I promise there will be more posts next week - I have so much to show you! And, of course, a few pieces of furniture in the garage that need work (and pictures)
